hip hip? hooray! hip hip? hooray! hip hip hip? hooray!!!!

it is here! the time of the year - the first day of the year as accord to the lunar calendar.

yup its the lunar new year - without doubt one of my favourite favourite days of the year. =)

for those who think that the 1st of january is the new year - hah i beg to differ.

the new year is a time to be very very happy. and who truly is happy on the 1st of january? haha when school or work starts on the next day? i think pple in fact dread the 1st of january... aniwae its not as fun oso - just gather at esplanade see fireworks den go home? eeeyer... lousy...

so in conclusion - the chinese new year is the REAL new year! yes yes yes... the eve itself is a partial holiday, and we have at least two more days of holidays! and the new year runs for 15 days! and we have so much to do! to eat! to play! angpaos to collect! firecrackers to set off! money to win from blackjet or mahjong! and so so so many more!

just came back from reunion dinner... disappointingly will say that it wasn't as fun as i had wanted it to be - but still it was gd coz reunion dinners are always good! too bad the prawns weren't good... haha im hungry now - but there's nothing open outside! every stall is closed lar! grrr maybe i shall go to 'ta pao' macs...

yup so i dined at my paternal side of my family, left and went to meet my maternal family... haha took lots and lots of photos - and played firecrackers, made a mini campfire and took in a lot of polluted air... haha yup my shirt stinks of smoke.

alrights gonna be a long day tomorrow... but must "shou ye" tonight... yar haha like that then parents can live until a ripe old age. hope i can have something to entertain me till the wee hours of the morning... i wanna be in chinatown now! haha seems very fun... okay okay tee-vee time.

feel like blogging more... haha changed my template - everyone was complaining about the previous one. in fact i oso din relli like it haha... but the shaking part at the start was cool lar! dunno how they do it one... aniwae i like this skin... the walk run fly idea is very gd!

my whole family is asleep liao. and i hafta shou ye... haha nvm lar shall go downstairs to chill... just now the fortune teller on tv said snake pple (or pple born in the yr of the snake) will prosper very very well this year! hahaha prosperous us! pple of 1989! i rmbr one lucky colour was orange, can't rmbr the lucky numbers... ohwell haha gd start to the year!

speaking of cousins. oh man i miss my cousin! haha yar she just migrated to the uk... so sads din get the chance to argue with her over who is older... and who has to queue up first for the angpaos... haha every year confirm we will argue one... hilarious man... hope she's adjusting to the place well...
