just had a nice time wif my family. picked up my bro after his piano lessons and den pulled my parents to alif... haha intro my family there. gd gd food. then after that pulled them to the hdb block beside westmall - the 30th floor one.


shiok man. the view is relli awesome. im sure mi parents were impressed.


trng today. hmmm. lots to think bout. lots to talk about.


since i changed hook about a few months ago, well obviously my scores have never reached the same level of my spinner days. and that sucks obviously. i mean sometimes u might ask yerself was it the correct decision? when yer bowling a 190 avg? den everything changes?


from a 190 -> maybe? 140 150? i dun think i'll regret this decision coz if i din change im quite sure i wld have regretted that more. but then its been a few months now and my game hasn't picked up at all.


earlier this yr was having lots of passion for this. i mean the odds of making the team was of coz against me, but still i was quite motivated to work and try my best. in fact i think this motivation seemed to be paying off... coz wif my guard on i was soon hitting 170++ avg.



however. i guess uncle henry wants me to work on a totally new technique. hai now if i bowl i think mi avg wld be 120? haha yar. no joke. it is freaking pathetic. totally different feeling without a guard on and i dunno if this is gonna work out. the feeling of being no where just sucks lar. dunno how things are gonna turn out, and dunno how yer game is gonna look in the future.



so i guess i've resigned myself to the fact that im not gonna make the team dis yr. nationals are only 3 months away, and i dun think there is a high possibility that my game will pick up to a standard that sajc can pride on within this time frame. i wun deny i dun feel dejected, coz i've experienced this in my sec 1 yr, and to say im not disappointed wld just be a big fat lie.



well i'll still work hard for my bowling im sure. i think there's still a burning passion inside me for this sport. and everytime i think of the days where i cld just string strikes during tournaments, or the days when the sch wld depend on you for glory, well that only motivates me to do the same again coz that feeling is simply exhilarating. well i've never known how it feels like to hold a national title, coz sji was always first runner up, thus being in sa really presents such an opportunity... so im gonna work hard for it.



nvm im sure the sch wld do better wifout me aniwae... haha yar im not relli dat sad as long as the bowling team is able to achieve its aims. in the end it is the championship that relli matters, and not any individual.



okay i hope i've straightened my thoughts out. so much has happened tonight that i'm all a blur relli. hope everything turns out well..


but one thing still strikes me as wierd. just now was telling nicole about all that and she tld me this: "this is not the yewliang i know lore"


i dun think im one to give up so easily. but now? why am i just letting it go? i mean yar there's still three months... so by right there's everything to fight for. alamak dunno wad im doing. just two paragraphs ago i said "i've straightened my thoughts out"... haha im contradicting myself.


dun feel like bloggin animore. shall go to sleep and hopefully i'll dream of the answer i've been looking for. ciaoz!
