so today was doubles.


and boy was it exciting.


so it's glenn and i... again. yes again. haha doubles partners always. and after getting a close and exhilarating 4th position last yr we were hoping to go one better. haha or as quoted "defend your fourth" at least.


started off. first game. for me it was zero strikes from frames 1 - 9. really irrtating. i rmbr i had two solid pockets and one low pocket and none connected. ohwell life sucks. thank god for glenn covering me with his 5 bagger. yes so first game we were up!


and that gives us a chance.


second game was bad. same as first game no strikes. and it was irritating. thankfully my sparing was alright today so yar it wasn't too bad. but life sucks and this time glenn wasn't there to cover me. haha so second game we were down.


and that still gives us a chance.


third game. i think the third frame maybe? BOTH of us CHOPPED our BLOODY pins. damnit. and glenn was telling me "no chance liao." arghhh i hated it but the thought did cross my mind.


but as i said. we still had a chance.


and after that for the third game i covered glenn with a five bag. hehe funny doubles partners covering each other. so yes we did have a chance.


so when calculating the scores are when tense moments come about. hehe and nicely lionel must come tell me we are second.


haha laugh. yes i laughed. coz i knew it was impossible. well maybe it was possible? haha but i still laughed. coz yes its impossible. turned out my feeling was right.


theodor and his partner bowled some 118+ so there u go. second gone.


well we are third!!! haha yes. that thought crossed my mind, and i thought. haha: "you must joking me"...


so i laughed again. but heh this time it was less of a laugh coz it was even more possible. still it was impossible.


and so it was. coz augustine and joel happily ever after striked home and brilliantly won us by two pins. so now we're fourth! haha hilarious.


and that joel keeps whacking my back. too much already la captain.


but turned out vic's brother bowled a brilliant 65+ series to win third. haha laugh laugh all the way to the long kang. everyone just dropped dead. AHHHHH victoria leong why does your brother bowl so well. damnit.


so there u go. we're fifth. and that's final. hahaha hilarious day. and the rjc girls beside us oso keep laughing. probably bout me. yes im okay being laughed at haha i'm not gonna change my celebration style anytime really. but im quite satisfied. but really three chops in the final game if prevented would have handed us the win. ohwell we bowled like a team today and that's how we're gonna bowl tomolo and that's how we're gonna win tomolo.


just read a person's blog and that person i can see really tries hard for his/her bowling and yet him/her can't seem to have the opportunity to showcase his/her hard work. well that's bowling really. when you're in such an individualistic sport sometimes personal ego drives too many pple too much. and time and time again we see it all around us.


but really sometimes that's not important. wait lets rephrase that. its really not that important at all.


okay wads the point. nothing really... go figure.


okay. slap your face yewliang coz you better start studying again. one week more and i'll be sitting in the hall staring at the paper blankly with nothing to write.
