short one before i go.

tomolo den will do a summary...

well today was effectively the last day of age groups - quartets event, something that we've talked bout for the whole week and something i was definitely looking forward to. i think we all were. maybe a little too much. lets see.

we met up at cine for breakfast/lunch and haf subway. haha nice food. yes. so after that it was the train to yishun and we reached the alley and changed into our SJI jerseys. i think it was damn funny, well it was definitely fun la.

so practice throw. first shot. nice pocket connection. okay i was happy. the next two strike shots were also pocket strikes so i was happy. and after that just took spares.

aniwae after a turkey practice hehe moved to the real game and omg. haha XXXXXX. yes sumhow mi tyconess was able to come into effect and got that six bag. and yar finished the game with a 245. thats a gd start for me personally but yar the team didn't do that well. 66+ series i think. slow start but we knew we were still in it.

second game was superb for the team until the 5th frame - where we had a 100% closing rate. nice bowling. but after that our team sort of crumbed a little. ah damnit. 68+ series to end the game. so yar the guys were giving up a little already but still there was that slight chance right. i hit a 171 here. struggled to find line throughout.

third game started off about the same as the second. not many strings but gd sparing. i ended off with a 226 here and our team bowled a 730 series i think. yar. so yar steady increase. well for our squad we were second but yar sadly our scores were not gd enuff for a medal placing.

nevertheless i think we did try hard la. (i hope!) and yar there u go honestly that's wads important.

i realised im always bowling in an underdog team. one that's not expected to win but got the chance to. well that's okay la im fine coz the excitement of it really is gd enuff. to try so hard and most of the time u end up 4th or 5th just encourages u further to bowl even better next time to enter the medals. yup so there u go. "Legends" of the game - SAAC. hehe!

so for a 642 today im pretty happy and all events im 8th i think. yes! sort of achieved my personal goal la. enter top ten for individual placing although i wld have definitely prefered a medal la. lols doubles was so close. hmmm tomolo's masters. going in with an outside chance only but i know possibly got the form now to carry me through. yes tomolo it shall be.

after bowling went makan-ing with the usual gang while zen and reg joined us. after which i went off for og bbq! woohoo although we had a few ps... *AHEM*... haha but yar it was fun. cooking and everything. cheese and mussles. yup im sure most of them had fun too.

argentina is just too good la. holland was lucky to scrape through. yes that's the world cup. excitement is building up and i can't wait for the knockout stages to begin. in the meantime its 2.16 am liao. adios pple.
