wah age groups has finally reached an end.

and boy has it been exciting.

so legends it was SAAC going into the tournament and this was how it went...

singles. well most of us didn't exactly bowl well. esp. on the first day. other than august that is. totally blazed the lanes on the second block to end up 5th for singles. thats shiok la. the other three of us i think bowled alright in the end coz the second block relli was gd for our team. (achieved our first 800 series too)... but relli we knew this wasn't important.

the doubles event carried more significance and boy did it really carry some significance. (look at the post below for more details on doubles...) yup ended up 4th and 5th... and with that we knew we had a gd solid chance for quartet...

probably we were too nervous? but the start was pretty bad. yep. carried a bit more steam but towards the end also died off. ohwell sometimes things just didn't click together at the right moment... but still we were somehow second for our own squad but haha ended up 6th for quartets...

today was masters. and boy was it a lesson for me. during practice throws i didn't manage to find a line... so my first game was pretty screwed. 149 to be exact. next game did better wif a 193.

switch of lanes and 3rd and 4th games were 202 and 181... so picked up a little... but didn't expect much of the positions due to the first game...

change of lanes... and when i saw the scoresheet - HOLY CRAP. i'm fifth... i tell u i was just shocked la. wah kao lyk dat oso fifth. haha den mi nxt game was a 209. oh man thats when i knew i had a chance.

chances dun come easy.

and boy i missed it today. got totally wrecked up and freaking nervous... and mi 6th game was a 126.

now can someone tell me how i hit that? i mean honestly thats probably my lowest game in half a year or something. totally wrecked. definitely due to nerves becoz i dunno la felt lyk i was suffocating.

yar so there my chance gone.

after that got more relaxed and bowled a 225 and 179 to end off...

hai. 126. how to bowl that score man. miss miss miss miss miss miss miss. a 190 wld have given me the bronze medal. i mean i know 190 and 126 is very far fetched and yar i admit the scores were not deserving of a medal but hey 126 is wth la. if it was a 160 or something then it wldn't be so bad. even that 149 game at the start was okay coz it was a 149 and not a 126.

haha dunno la bowlers psychology. anything below 160 is a bad game. below 150 is a poor game. below 140 is a horrible game. below 130 is horrendous and anything below 100 is simply suicidal..

but i shld be satisfied la. with a 126 and 149 game i still end up with at 183 avg and 6th position for masters and thats well. quite gd la hor.

ohwell lesson learnt. nvr look at the bloody scoresheet during masters. ever.

okay USA and Italy is coming up. woohoo.
