a once in a year day has arrived - yes it is national day.

anyways to celebrate this wonderful day of nationalistic pride and harmony and everything that singapore stands for... ...



i mugged the whole day



okay half the day.




yeah today was a gd day to study. or rather a mandatory day to study. blame sajc for setting the common tests on the day after national day.



so it was reg zen shawn and liz first before darryl and glenn came along. soon we saw vic mugging too. haha yes saintsbowlers make excellent muggers.



well after dinner the rest of them went for a movie while i continued to mug wif liz and shawn. but sadly the place closed at 10 and we had no choice but to walk around marina square. well the arcade seemed enticing and we went there for pool. haha yeah played a few rounds of pool and soon after i had 50 cents in my hand and went to play my favourite game at the arcade - some of my friends would know wad it is.



well it's this jackpot thing where u put in 50 cents and if you get all the three numbers the same u win a small plush toy. haha yeah cheap and fun. so i just nice had one singular 50 cents in my hand and decided to try my luck...



so it was 9. and den 9. and den 9.



haha three cheers man. wait make that 100 cheers! one try one hit! shiok bo. aniwae gave it to liz. not like i really keep any of my winnings anyway... haha so far to date i've won six... but i only kept one chip and one dale. the rest all give away to dunno who liao. lol its the shiok feeling that's important.



and so i probably took like wads the last train home again.



tml's another mugging day. but before that lets wish singapore a happy national day. aren't you proud to be one? to have compulsory two years of torturous national service? to have a state controlled media which bans bloggers for saying the cost of living has risen? to have a super duper strict law which forbids chewing gum?


well its okay. its okay that we hafta wear uniforms to sch everyday. its okay really. coz we have char kway teow like no where else in the world. and so is the ba chor mee and the kosong prata and the nasi lemak and the hokkien mee and the cheese prata and the mee pok and the hor fun and the rojak and the fried cockles and the carrot cakes and the D24 durians and the rochor beancurd and the laksa of katong and the milo dinosaurs and milo godzillas and kong bah bun and char siew bun and chicken rice and chicken rice with soup and the mixed rice and the mixed rice with curry gravy and of course my mum's cooking.


and there you go. we have prosperous colours as our national flag and not some funny one like black or blue or wadeva. and we also have a rubbish bin everywhere you turn. so there you go lets sincerely celebrate all that is gd about this country and really for one day and one minute and one second of every year.
