open house has come. and gone.

D' Bowling Adventura

a major success.

much planning was put into this and im glad it turned out well. really very happy with the exco and also the entire team for a great job done. all that time spent on saturday sunday monday thursday and friday really paid off when more than 20 pple signed up at our booth. im sure everyone was in smiles upon the sight of the sign-up sheet.

well that's for the bowling part.

admittedly at times i wasn't stationed at the bowling booth coz i became distracted and had to walk around the school. it was nice to talk to the twenty-niners and my classmates too. had fun at many other booths like the photographic booth which offered us free photos and places like golf and badminton also allowed us to play with their games and stuff. choir band and dance performances too was gd to watch and provided much entertainment.

undoubtedly one of the most exciting parts of the day happened with my classmates.

hilarious to say the least.

concidentally about 10 or so of us met at the cafe near the bowling booth and we talked a little. meanwhile mr. chua was nearby and we asked him to come and together the few of us took a group picture. after that if i dun rmbr wrongly he said something bout our econs grades and that it wasn't very good.

after that we went hysterical. for the pure fact that WE DIDN'T KNOW OUR ECONS GRADES YET!!!

exciting stuff right?

also too econs was the only subject we din get back yet - other than chinese that is. but of course to most pple - 'who cares about chinese?' and in the jc system it is true that chinese is not as significant as our economics. and of coz we were so anxious to get that particular result back coz it mattered so much.

for me personally i felt i had submitted a poor script so there was always the chance of u know. failing. and i heard from a friend that the oracle said that i had very poor content in my paper.

aniwae we pestered mr. chua for the results. turns out he knew bout it coz he was keying in our GP grades and the econs grades were right beside it. so much for "not finalised". so we went to eat our lunch first while he went upstairs to try to rmbr our grades again.

when he came back he was like "well all of u passed." hahahahaha i simply burst at that moment. passed econs leh. wahh sehh so the efforts were not wasted after all. well chester and glen passed oso. but sadly there were like 7 failures so yeah haiii its regretful to say the least. coz im sure everyone tried hard.

nevertheless it was a very successful open house and here are some pics of that day:

it probably is gonna be another hectic week with oral presentation due. ohwell wads new.
