well today was the amazing race organized courtesy of our house council and personally it turned out to be a not so amazing race after all.


to be honest i was disappointed. not in the house council and their organisations but rather with my dearest class.


furthermore after i heard recollections from other classes i really wonder why in the world we chose to do wad we did today. well basically wad we did today was - we did nothing. and if pple can find that more fun then i dare say something is wrong.


initially i was heartened by the turnout - definitely one of the highest in the level (with only 3 pple ponning). but upon the word go we just stoned there and only after a while did we start walking. but that was still alright coz prob we din get into the mood yet. but all we did after that was wander aimlessly without any purpose or motive at all (supposedly searching for the milo truck) and that really was just stupid la. so its more fun and exciting to walk around the sch thinking that by not doing anything we're cool and all?


well we finally got down to the first task and with the help of elaine's blurness we got through quite easily. heh after that we did the second one and i thought we were at least getting somewhere. but the third one which required some venturing out of sch well just totally took everything away. when we completed it i did not really understand why but we took the decision to sit down at the cafe to slack. from 10am to 12pm.


and that's better?


well after everything i was asking around esp. during training. glenn said that for the house council it was quite a success coz most of the classes were quite enthusiastic bout everything - some only took like less than 2 hrs to finish all six stations. and indeed when i asked around everyone tld me that their classes were running running trying to complete the tasks in the fastest possible time.


well that's all im gonna say. hope nobody who reads this gets offended coz that's not the purpose. i probably was just disappointed coz maybe i had expected us to really have some bit of fun by really playing the race and after all it is good bonding for the class. it could bring good memories too. but then it seems that drinking free milo is more important so well yeah that's all i've got to say.


thankfully training today was fruitful. had a good percentage of strikes and tried different rolls. hmmm got three things to work on: posture, earlier release and lower backswing. the thumb seems better now although the prob is just that the release is not at the bottom-most portion of the pendulum swing.


after that zen reg glenn and i had to deal wif something sad but then now's not the time to talk bout it.


so that sums up my day. heh tired man. and its already 1.20am. sleeptime.
