Winter Fantasy Pt. II

part one was like weeks ago. nvm here's part II.

And we're back on Discovery Travel and Living and it is Destination Week: Japan!

The weather is getting pretty cold in here in Hokkaido with temperatures hovering at the negative levels and boy is it snowing!

yes and it is really thick as well. the wind is howling and the snow is falling like as if there's no tomorrow. In fact many of us have had to use umbrellas to block out the snow as we move along the streets of Hokkaido - or else it would simply wet our clothes and make us fall-into-soup-chickens. (think luo tang ji)

Scarfs, ear muffs, head gear, gloves, one more sweater, thick coat, lip gloss, moisturizer...

it is really shivering. and even with gloves we are still hiding our hands in our pockets and moving all in a huddled manner. Alright i'm struggling to keep up. Even taking my hands out of my pocket to reach for my camera to take a shot of the beautiful snowing landscape is proving to be a challenge - let alone listen to the tour guide speak his narrations.

it is really pretty.

And so we trudge along. and along. and along. nothing exciting really - visited the chocolate place and then went to Asahi Beer's manufacturing plant. Free flow beer was present but no one was particularly interested. More interesting was the food that was provided - this thing that looked and shaped like a sausage turned out to be one fat cheese stick. and surprisingly you could actually eat the entire fat stick without feeling sick of cheese, meaning it was really damn nice.

and so was the beer.

which unfortunately was drunk illegally.

the night view in the city square is beautiful - spacious little place with lots of neon lights and lots more neon lights.

cars hooting.

vans stopping at the roadside selling sweet potatos.

couples huddling near electrical warmers.

young ones running around throwing snow balls.

bells ring at shops selling ice cream.

flashes go off from camera shots.

...

alrights just imagine the atmosphere.

...

bro and me. and a shadow of the person taking this shot. aniwaes i have no idea why our tour guide brought us here but i don't really see the point of looking at warehouses beside a river. so point proven - tour groups are pointless at times.

artistic? not really.

pointless? definitely.

my brother's first comment upon seeing this:

"HEYY! Bangala!"

haha humorously very funny - wonder who teaches young kids these kinda stuff these days. i never even knew the existence of this word till i was like sec dunno wad.

aniwaes we caught the sunset.

i thought this was the most beautiful pic i took this trip.

aniwaes we're now heading for a commercial break so stay wif discovery travel and living: destination week: japan.
