it's the weekend. and surely i'm already cherishing it after a most hectic feverish out of the world first week of school i've experienced.

hw to be rushed daily, sleeping at 2am, waking up late all three days, feeling vexed out all over.

it's been a really different feeling school has given to the new year, and it's not just the work.

After fighting a war called promotional exams last year, 06s23 witnessed a casualty rate of five of our comrades, thus reducing the unit to a meagre 19 pple. the year 2007 has brought them back to military school, but at a higher level now and lessons have been different.

1) now we only need two rows in class to fill everyone's seating requirements.
2) there's a bigger need to pay attention in class without battling your eyelids because of the increasing attention teachers give per student percentage.
3) the feeling's different.

over at saintsbowling, training's gonna resume soon, and glad to be able to observe that most of my juniors have managed to enjoy orientation. training's gonna begin soon and there might be cca signups coming up so hafta prepare for that too. but wads definitely coming up is alumni bowling and looks like i have nothing much to do for that so PHEW.

new year if there's one resolution to make it is for bowling. all these years for bowling and i still feel caught in the middle - not lousy but definitely not great. i thought sec 3 was my breakthrough year but since that revamp of my entire bowling everything hasn't clicked yet. may and june last year with nationals and den age group was a great experience and really practicing hard and working hard seems to be my best bet for success.

firstly in the context of the team, having the position that i have it is gonna be hard to have a huge rock on your shoulder. defending champions for two years plus college's expectations ain't gonna help reduce that. the optimism level ain't that good as of currently but i'm sure things can be done to rectify that. what's most important is to get everyone to be on the same path with the same mindset and that is we work together and win for our team and everything else is a bonus. internally there are of course also many things to be rectified by with the start of the new year and maturity creeping in i certainly do grasp the hope that this can also be improved upon. for ultimately time has gone by and it will do us all some good.

for myself this year i've set the target of making the first team and that is of course what many might say impossible but you never know unless you try. prob gonna take up private training soon, and any free time is gonna be mostly spent rolling a 14 pounder down 60 feet of wood. it's the last year and definitely i would feel empty if it just went and went by without something significant happening.

but most importantly again is the team and i'm so glad i saw clara again walking ytd. and may that be the epitome of how both us guys and girls will fight hard and fight we will until the curtains close on the quartet event in may.
