NUS Open.

The past two days have been tremendously eventful, everything that has happened has been simply extraordinary.

the j1s have for the first time participated in a tournament under the name of the Saints Bowling Team and i'm sure it has been a blast for all of them. Experience wise it would also have been enriching, for many of them would not have participated in a tournament with such an intense atmosphere where the cheering is neverending. Of course how to forget team bonding, where the constant interaction throughout two days forged common identities amongst all. Finally there was of course the prizes, and this is the very reason why team events are so important - for most people would be able to go home happy with some shiny biscuit. And thankfully that was definitely the case.

In particular to me the guys have shown their mettle - both teams managing to squeeze into the top three positions. And furthermore it was with highly impressive averages, winning many many teams from top schools. the potential was simply shining today.

of course not to forget the girls. the consistency was more than worthwhile for the gold, and of course over the past two days the cheering was impeccable. really really thankful for it and im sure the rest of the guys feel the same.

finally what impressed me most was the way everyone bowled as a team, as team saints bowling, as team sajc. hopefully this tournament has laid a certain standard for our team, for the way we work and operate, and to use as our greatest weapon - not our skills, but our teamwork.

personally, this tournament has been really encouraging, and it came at a right time too. going into this my technical areas were very jia lat, and everything there just changed. went for a few trainings trying to correct everything, but they came with little success. thankfully somehow this tournament went well, and probably it gives me some direction as to what i wanna do in my bowling game.

thanks to everyone who cheered, those "ppp-ers" and the "oei-ers" and of course my team. haha hugely motivating. and certainly very very very entertaining.
