If you just joined us we are live here on star sports for the first ever Singapore Grand Prix and if we look above the cars lined up in perfect rows we will see the five lights illuminate...

AND WE'RE OFF!!!

What a start by KIMI! He's taking the inside line into the s-bend and he's side by side with massa, look at all the cars turning at more than 200km/hr! Oh and massa's nudged ahead as he takes the inside line over the next bend and we see the red scuderias march on, keeping position in 1-2.

Oh there's been a collision! Coulthard hits the belly of Hamilton and the silver McLaren spins into the gravel! Look at the crowd's reaction! They're booing coulthard off the track. Certainly the vast majority of McLaren fans here are disappointed. And so too is Hamilton, he's just thrown his helmet on the floor and shaken off the race marshals.

As we continue on with the race with see the drivers line up as they go past turn 4 and into the long straight of Raffles Boulevard, before slowing down to a mere 100 odd km/hr as they negotiate around turn 7 and turn 8. Oh that's a great move there by Kubica as he takes p6 from Mark Webber in the Red Bull.

Oh man. Exhilarating is an understatement.

It's a sunday night race, which means I might have to check in to army when the race starts. Also the pricing is crazy. Okay i could afford the lower end tickets, but those suck to the core man. See shit? haha. What's the use watching a straight? there's no freaking overtaking. To get a good seat, it's gotta cost upwards of 600 bucks. which is like mind boggling expensive la.

But crap. I've been waiting so long for this. And there's another problem, it's hard to find a friend who's willing to fork out 600 plus bucks to watch a darn race with you, considering that not many pple in singapore are f1 fans. (ANYBODY OUT THERE?)

Let me persuade my parents again. Maybe they'll foot e bill, and if i can't watch it, at least they will. Haha. Although they'll probably be more interested in shopping around town than watching the race.
