i'm back from thailand!


and i realised since i was gone, so much has happened in the world!




money talks, and everyone's talking about the state of the US economy.
the greenback fell to its lowest against the yen in 12 years, and bear stearns falls into emergency funding.

sadly too tibet entered a period of turmoil as protests turned violent and the chinese troops were quick to launch a crackdown on it. the dalai lama says more than 100 have died, and this seems to have become one of the most deadly incidents since the failed uprising of 1959. (however official reports put the number at 10)

and f1. it's started!
what a race. even the most disinterested f1 fan must have been impressed.
sadly, my scuderias were like shit but they were damn suay la.
except massa which is still showing his dumbness.

Hami's teammate this season is heikki kovalainen, a name most people wont know unless you're an ardent fan. anw he did one of the funniest thing i've ever seen an f1 driver do:

"I managed to get past Fernando but then as I tore off a visor strip on the main straight I accidentally hit the pit lane speed limiter button and Fernando managed to get past me again."

hah! can u imagine? after going past the former world champion at probably around 250km/hr and going down the straight trying to accelerate to 300km/hr, with a touch of a button u suddenly drop down to 80km/hr. that's singapore road speed man!
