TODAY IS MY BOOKOUT DAY, BOOKOUT BOOKOUT!
wow. i'm actually here in front of my laptop typing a blog post. my goodness, this is hardly comprehensible by any standards.
3 weeks has gone by since I've been in Officer Cadet School, and indeed as expected, it was hell of a long wait for it to end. Along the way, many new things have been learnt which I am not allowed by any strictest means to post up here, but in any case they have been both enriching and thought provoking simultaneously.
Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer played what was probably the greatest, most epic tennis match the modern era has ever witnessed. Rallies of incredulous nature ensued one after the other, and it seemed that both men were going to fight with their very lives for their namesake to be enshrined on the walls of the All-England Club. Nadal might have won the match, but for me, Federer was the true champion, as he showcased every virtue of a fighter, a sportsman and the epitome of mind over matter.
Almost simultaneously, at the British Grand Prix, rained poured from all directions and standing water on the track was at a premium. As the five lights illuminated, Hamilton showed raw speed, nerve, agility and all round racing talent to win a race as difficult as A Level Physics. At at time where all his competitors skidded and flew around Silverstone, Hamilton, still only in his second season, showed his cool-leveled mind as he drove a superb race and took the chequered flag by over a minute to the second-placed car. I may be no McLaren fan, but the talent that this young racing prodigy shows bodes well for his future.
Even after six hours, it still feels superb to bookout. Cheers people!
