That song's been ringing in my head ever since I heard it.





And the rest is going to be a F1 fanatic post. Please do read if you want to know what goes through the head of a fanatical F1 fan as he psyches himself up for the first ever night race in Formula One history in his home country of Singapore. If not, you may go on to other websites cause it'll all seem like gibberish ramblings of an idiot. Haha.


It's less than 24 hours before the first car (probably a Force India, not very exciting but still...) rolls out of the pit garage and onto the track as its high-powered V8 engine roars and fires up the Singapore night life. Upon that instant, history has been made. Singapore has had the utmost honour of being the first (and so far the only planned one) city to host a Formula One Grand Prix at night, an event the entire world has been waiting for, and certainly it is the most highly anticipated Grand Prix of the calender year.


Forget SPA, forget Monaco, forget the crashes and burns that comes with Montreal and forget the history that fills tracks like Silverstone and Monza, for it is Singapore this year that everyone is dying to watch.

Just to break off the formal tone, I just found out Lewis Hamilton and his McLaren entourage is staying at the Conrad Hotel. Probably isn't news to most but still I don't have access to such information. Could anyone tell me where Kimi and Felipe are housed at?


And into turn one they go, and a left one into turn two... and oh! A Honda has clipped the rear of a Toro Rosso, it's a carnage in the middle of the pack as the lead drivers drive down the straight into Raffles Boulevard... It seems like Barrichello clipped the rear of Bourdais' car as Bourdais was challenging Piquet wheel-to-wheel into turn two... Bourdais looks fit to carry on but Barrichello looks like he has to go round the circuit and into the pits for a nose change...


And it's Kimi, it's Kimi! He's gaining ground on the McLaren fast and he exits the corner right behind Hamilton and he slingshots himself into the slipstream and he takes the inside line... and they go wheel-to-wheel... oh what action! What drama! Kimi Raikkonen has probably just completed the move that could salvage his entire season...


Will it be enough? Massa had a 20 second lead going into the pit, it's a short pitstop! And we see Hamilton coming right up towards the end of the pit straight... and Massa just comes out in front of Hamilton - but he's got to stay within the white lines of the pit exit... Hamilton comes right into his slipstream... will it be enough?
