Have you ever been on a holiday?

I'm pretty sure most of you have. be it that nice little one week break to Japan, that dream vacation to Europe, that backpacking trip to New Zealand or just that short but fun time in Genting Highlands.

Personally, I've been rather privileged and have travelled to a few places here and there. Although that paradise of a place called Europe is still missing on my "places I have visited", still I remember those lovely times in Japan and Australia that were simply amazing. Increasingly, I've also gone on trips with my friends, and they've all been absolutely brilliant.

So much so that I totally crave for a holiday now.

It's been what, four months since my last overseas trip? Oh, that's not very long ago. Haha! But still, it feels terribly long! So if anybody is interested in one at the end of year please let me know and maybe the SAF shall provide some brilliant schedule with lots of holidays and I can fly out of here.

And speaking of the SAF, they've technically granted me my wish because I am flying off to Brunei tonight! Haha, the prospects are actually much less exciting than I am making them sound right now and I pray with all my might that I will come back alive and well and hopefully not shed more than 5kg and become a stick insect.

Tonight, I will reach the airport at 2359hrs, say goodbye to my parents and hello to a land unknown to most if not all of us. In 21 days, I'll see Singapore again. And maybe, just maybe, I will take home with me a memorable experience. Till then, I love you guys, and may we see each other soon. Ciao!
